Ranked first in FRQNT Postdoctoral Fellowship competition 2021 (Committee 05EManufacturing and Construction), Québec’s most prestigious postdoctoral fellowship with total funding of $90,000 (partially convertible to faculty start-up funds)

Best PhD Thesis Award (Attestation of Appreciation + $4,000)
An annual competition to recognize the excellence of one PhD thesis in each of the three major areas of research: (1) Natural sciences and engineering; (2) Health sciences; and (3) Literature, humanities and social sciences. Evaluation criteria: (1) contribution to the advancement of knowledge, (2) sphere of research impact, and (3) candidate’s aptitude for research-intensive career. For 2020 edition, my PhD thesis was selected as the best thesis among around 86 PhD theses defended in engineering and natural sciences.

Pierre-Claude Aïtcin Scholarship of the American Concrete Institute ($3,000)
An annual competition for graduate programs in Civil Engineering (concrete technology) across Quebec and Eastern Ontario. The competition focuses on: (1) the relevance of the research project considering the needs of the concrete industry in Québec and Eastern Ontario, (2) the integration of sustainable development into the research project, (3) the clear presentation of the technological or scientific objectives of the proposed research project, and (4) the quality, originality and scope of the research project.

An annual merit-based award to recognize research potential.

Rashid Bin Humaid Cultural and Sciences Award ($5,000)
An annual competition within Universities in the Arabian Gulf region. In its 22nd Session, 140 applications were received, and my project won the second prize.

Annual award organized by Sharjah Islamic Bank to recognize and encourage value research in the University of Sharjah, UAE.

Merit-based scholarship for pursuing master studies while working as in teaching & research assistantship, awarded to top two students in the B.Sc. cohort.

Annual contest for undergraduate students at the University of Sharjah, organized by TANMIYAT (a real estate developer in UAE) to recognize excellent capstone projects.

Merit-based scholarship for undergraduate studies at the University of Sharjah. The scholarship is offered to top four high-school students from Chad.

Le Premier du Tchad au Baccalauréat de l’Enseignement Secondaire(Mention)
First Place Nationally (among approximately 20,000 candidates) in the High-School Certificate Exam in Chad.
